Phenology is the study of natural occurrences through the seasons. It is, perhaps, the oldest science; and yet, with climate change all over the news, it is still very important today. Insect-friendly warmth here too! Lots of insects went into hibernation last week but are active again now.
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing these, also, on my lunch break walks. I am not sure from this photo, but think this may be a meadowhawk. They hug the warm concrete walls of the office buildings.
